What motivates you to kick ass in your workouts? “The biggest step towards a healthy lifestyle is taking the first one. I think people get themselves into a comfort zone and develop a fear of trying anything new. When I put my fear aside and tried Boot Camp, I began to feel better physically, which made me stronger mentally as well. I began to see improvements and all of these little improvements began to snowball. I realized that what I did and what I ate really do add up to better health and a better quality life.

I'm motivated by the people I train with at The Original Boot Camp. I've seen recruits take huge strides in their physical conditioning and appearance, which inspires me to keep pushing and to challenge myself to be better also.

The biggest thing I've learned is that when you reach that point and push through it, you get the most benefits. The camaraderie of a group is great because you know that we're all suffering together, and we're all inspired by each others accomplishments. When you see someone achieve a standard you thought was impossible you realize that you can get there too with a little more effort. Being challenged to take it to the next level, and ignoring your weakening inner voices, is the difference between staying at a mediocre fitness level and achieving a new personal best.”
